New album Forth touches all the right bases.

The Verve have the right idea: unlike Brian Wilson, who just announced a shameless marketing ploy in conjunction with Gannett and USA Today to stream his new album, the acclaimed UK band is simply streaming their new album, Forth (On Your Own Records/Megaforce Records/MRI Label Group) via their MySpace page, no middlemen or media shills necessary.

The album drops August 26, and dare we say it, it kicks ass.
