Lingua Musica/Blurt Say: Dex Romweber!
07/19/2011

Taped Friday, July 8 at the Grey Eagle in Asheville.
By Blurt Staff
In case you hadn't figured it out already, Dex Romweber, late of the Flat Duo Jets and now fronting the Dex Romweber Duo, is a big fave around the BLURT offices. So check out Kelly Denson of the Lingua Musica web show crew (and also music and entertainment blog Lush Life Today) interviewing Romweber prior to a recent gig. He talks about the Jets, his musical influences and his influence on other, younger artists, his recent album for Bloodshot Records, and more.
You can visit the Dex Romweber Duo at their official website for more details on the band, including the live itinerary, which is slated to run through the end of August (and probably beyond). The new album, Is That You In The Blue, is released next week on Bloodshot.
The videotaped conversation marks the latest in the new Lingua Musica Interviews series and we're looking forward to many more in the very near future. (Previous installments have included Dubtribe, Dehlia Low, Ryan Montbleau, Brian McGee, Jon Dee Graham, and more.) BLURT is a proud co-sponsor of Lingua Musica and you can expect to see our on-camera participation at various points to boot (you have been warned). Please visit the LinguaMusicaAlive.com website, and meanwhile, check out the video!
