The mighty moe. have announced that their annual moe.down — the 9^th, if you’re keeping count — happens Aug. 29-31 up in Turin, NYC, at the Snow Ridge Ski resort. The site is about an hour northeast of Syracuse, at the edge of the Adirondack Mountains. Ski lifts will be open, and camping is available. The festival boasts a pretty stellar, and dare we say it, jamming, lineup:

The Levon Helm Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Sparrow Quartet featuring Abigail Washburn and Bela Fleck, The Presidents of the United States of America, Fishbone, Benevento-Russo Duo, Cornmeal, American Babies, U-Melt, The Macpodz, The Bridge, Lynch, The PMG, Swampadelica, The Brew

Oh, and moe. as well: just to make sure everyone remembers who’s throwing the bash, moe. plan to perform a total of six sets throughout the weekend!
