Paul Weller Mounts “Extensive” U.S. Tour

Nine shows, seven cities, two coasts… any questions?

Paul Weller. You know the name: Jam, Style Council,  solo icon. His new album 22 Dreams, which went to #1 in England upon its recent release, is due Stateside on July 22 from Yep Roc. Naturally he’ll be touring in support of it, and his label’s calling it his “most extensive U.S. tour in years.” Funny thing, it’s a mere nine dates — maybe 9 shows would amount to an “extensive” U.K. tour? —and just in the usual major markets.

 

That’s okay. The rest of us have YouTube. He is, after all, the modfather.
