Anti-Pop Consortium To Tour New LP
09/02/2009

Hip-hop luminaries also featured in new issue of Blurt.
By Blurt Staff
he four men better known to the world as Anti-Pop Consortium - Beans, M. Sayyid, High Priest, and Earl Blaize, are bringing their futuristic brand of hip-hop back to the people in a series of shows across the US this fall, including a coveted slot at this year's All Tomorrow's Parties festival in New York. Their new album, Fluorescent Black (out October 6th on Big Dada), is yet another step beyond what anyone else in hip-hop is doing right now - a feat that they seem to have accomplished with every album, from their debut Tragic Epilogue (2000) to their monumental benchmark album Arrhythmia (2002). The band's live show is the stuff of legend, having toured with a diverse array of artists such as Radiohead, DJ Shadow, Public Enemy, Stereolab, The Faint, Prefuse 73 and more.
