dB’s Holsapple & Stamey to Tour

Selected dates to promote new album, and rumors of a new dB's happening, too.

Awhile back we told you about the new album en  route from Peter Holsapple & Chris Stamey (of the dB's). Titled hERE aND nOW, it drops next Tuesday courtesy Bar/None, and the two friends are going to be doing some selected dates (primarily on the East Coast) to promote the platter. See the itinerary below.

And watch for the next issue of BLURT, due in stores in late June or early July, in which we talk to the boys about the album as well as that other notable project of theirs - which, we've learned, continues apace towards a new full-length.

"I would say you can expect from a new dB's record a variety of songs that will maintain the high standard of quality we established on our first 45," Holsapple tells BLURT. "Otherwise, it'd be another cash-grab reunion thing that runs its course in a matter of a couple of years. The time we've been taking on this album has ensured the band working together much longer than that already."
