Pretenders for “Concrete” 2009 Tour

First headlining tour in nearly six years.

Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders kick off the Breakup the Concrete North American tour on Jan. 29 in Albany and wrap things up March 14 in Reno. Although they've performed on these shores sporadically in recent years, included a celebrated appearance a couple of years ago in Austin at SXSW, this will mark the first full-blown Pretenders road trek since 2003.

Pretenders touring lineup: Hynde, longtime drummer Martin Chambers, James Walbourne, Eric Heywood, and Nick Wilkinson. Full list of dates is below, with more tba.
