Drums on "ferocious" tune "Run With Wolves".

The Prodigy is setting a March 2 release date for its fifth album, titled Invaders Must Die and due from the band's own Take Me To the Hospital imprint. And in addition to it marking a reunion of sorts with Prodigy mainman Liam Howlett and his once-estranged vocalist Keith Flint, the album will also feature Dave Grohl, currently of a little ol' band called the Foo Fighters and previously of...hmmm... let's see... oh yeah, Nirvana.
In an interview with Australia's Herald Sun, Howlett commented on his choice of drummer for the track "Run With Wolves," which along with the rest of the albm was more or less completed - then Grohl, who he was already friends with, got in touch.
"It's ferocious, that tune,'' Howlett says. ‘‘It's definitely one of the more venomous tracks on the album. It's fast and has a big, evil synth riff that comes in for the hook.' He'd finished touring and wanted to get in the studio and play drums. He asked how I'd feel about him sending me a load of his drum samples to use. I was like ‘F---ing come on'. So he went into the studio, laid down all these beats and sent me the hard drive in the hope I'd be inspired. We wrote the track in four days. I sent it back, he redrummed it and here we are.''
