Swedish songbird Lykke Li will play North American dates from coast to coast in February, treating audiences to the pop gems from her critically lauded debut album, Youth Novels, released in the U.S. earlier this year on her own label, LL Recordings. Produced by Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John, the album's no doubt on a trajectory to topping numerous year-end best-of lists.

She'll also be performing "Dance, Dance, Dance" and "I'm Good, I'm Gone" at mtvU's Woodie Awards - where's she's also up for the "Breaking Woodie" breakthrough artist award - airing on mtvU and mtvU.com on November 19 at 8 p.m. EST, MTV2 on November 21 at 7 p.m. EST and November 22 at 11 p.m. EST and MTV on November 22 at 10 p.m. Yttling and Brooklyn's all-keyboard band Au Revoir Simone will be playing as part of Lykke Li's live band for the show, and guest Q-Tip also joins her on stage for a collaboration on A Tribe Called Quest's "Can I Kick It".

Random label hype:

From the splash she made at this year's SXSW, to her wildly successful spring tour with El Perro del Mar, to selling out her first full U.S. headlining tour this fall, music lovers can't seem to get enough of this 22-year-old songstress - proof of the undeniable magnetism of her music and her unique connection to her fans. Lykke Li has been winning over audiences across the globe with her minimalist arrangements, sugary voice and fierce dance moves. Whether she's keeping the beat with a cymbal, singing into her megaphone, using a necklace full of percussion or captivating the crowd with her amazing voice, Lykke Li wows every audience that sees her. Using only a guitar, bass, keyboard and drums, each song is reworked for the stage so that is gets everyone moving. Lykke Li has even been known to throw in a few brilliant covers, reinterpreting everyone from Vampire Weekend to A Tribe Called Quest.
